Software productions and collaborations of the unit

You are on the portal of Software developed by the UMR BIOEPAR or in collaboration.

INRAE researchers and Oniris teacher-researchers leads research partnerships in the territories of the French large west territory. For over 20 years, several applications have been developed to guide farmers and their advisors in their choice of efficient and profitable health strategies in cattle herds.

As research projects have progressed, a diverse range of tools has emerged. Access to the full range of these tools is offered through this portal, using different approaches: depending on your profile, the type of tool you are looking for, the thematicin which you practice, the disease or species you are interested in, or the scale of your field of interest.

We wish you a fruitful exploration of our applications!

Casdar santé

Casdar santé is a software package for calculating the economic impact of mastitis and lameness on a dairy cattle farm, i.e. the loss of income resulting from the effect of the diseases on the zootechnical performance of the affected animals and the health costs inherent to these diseases.

Dairy Health Manager

The objective of the DHM simulator is to compare strategies for controlling the health of the dairy cattle herd. By modifying livestock management actions, such as the herd mating policy, the use of treatments, ... the biological functions of the animals and their interactions are modified, and ultimately, the productivity of the herd is impacted. DHM provides results in terms of health (number of animals treated and deaths), milk and reproductive performance, and economic margin.

EMULSION

The EMULSION Framework is aimed at modelers in epidemiology, to help them design, revise and simulate complex stochastic mechanistic models without having to write huge amounts of code, while facilitating exchanges between modeling scientists and non-modeling scientists on model assumptions and structure. This tool has been developed within the Dynamo team, in charge of modeling the pathogen propagation in animal populations.

Health check

Health check is a software to estimate the annual economic losses associated with the main disease occurences in a dairy herd.

Mariage

Mariage is a software to evaluate the cost/benefit ratio of the investment of a heat deterrent for a dairy cattle farm.

Mihmes tools

The Mihmestools suite of decision support tools is a powerful support for the control of pathogens from the farm to the regional scale. This tool has been developed within the Dynamo team, in charge of modeling the pathogen propagation in animal populations.

Optimization of animal batches

Algorithm used to optimize the management of young bovine transfers between breeders and fatteners (batch creation and transfer distances). This tool has been developed within the Dynamo team, in charge of modeling the pathogen propagation in animal populations.

Reproscope

Reproscope is the observatory that allows you to discover the reproductive performance of French dairy and beef cattle herds.

Reproscope éco

Reproscope éco is a software to evaluate the loss of income associated with the decrease in herd fertility for a dairy or beef cattle farm.

SEGAE

SEGAE (SErious Game for AgroEcology learning) is aimed at helping players understand the links between farm components and activities, and know more about some agroecological practices and their effects on the sustainability of farming systems.

Transmissio

Transmissio is a program to visualize temporal graph data (network) combined with geographic information (node coordinates). It provides a straightforward tool for representing network data in an interactive way, in the form of static or dynamic visualization. This tool has been developed within the Dynamo team, in charge of modeling the pathogen propagation in animal populations.

Tsetse population dynamics

Tse tse is a program modelling the population dynamics of tsetse flies in the Niayes area of Senegal. Optimization of the control of population density in space by targeted increase of mortality in certain patches. This tool has been developed within the Dynamo team, in charge of modeling the pathogen propagation in animal populations.
